Chefs Skills - How To Julienne. 

A short and snappy video on how to julienne your vegetables. An essential skill for any chef, Hospitality Jobs Africa shows you how to Julienne safely and efficiently.

You Will Need

* 1 Carrot , or ingredient of your choice * 1 Sharp knife * 1 Chopping board * 1 Peeler

 

Step 1: Prepare Ingredients Prepare your ingredients ready for chopping finely. Peel and cut of any roots.

Step 2: Cut into sections Now cut into manageable pieces, for example cut a carrot in half. Where possible place the flat side of your food down for easier chopping.

Step 3: Chop into strips Cut into 1/4 inch strips. Then take these pieces individually and slice them finely.
